Mother Nature has chosen mid-February as a good time to kick off winter, and Environment Canada responded with an extreme-cold warning on Saturday. The warning was lifted around noon Sunday. Wind chill is expected to become a balmy minus-33 Sunday afternoon. Extreme cold warnings are issued when there is an elevated risk to health, such as frost bite any hypothermia.
