Situated in the heart of Little Italy, Jean Talon Market is one of the oldest public markets in Montréal. Inaugurated in May 1933. This place is equivalent to the Filipino "mercado", where it is okay to haggle for fair prices.

This July, no less than 50 of some of the best street theatre troupes in the world will be converging in Montréal to present 800 free outdoor performances. Hundreds of artists from eight countries, including over a dozen troupes from Québec, will take part in this massive street theatre event, the biggest of its kind ever in North America!

If you just arrived in Montreal and don't know where start exploring then start with the museum. That's right! Skip the most touristy spots and visit Pointe-à-Callière Museum.
