Music and Arts Festival is a multi-day indie music festival in Montreal, Quebec, that is held annually at Parc Jean-Drapeau on Île Sainte-Hélène every summer. The festival takes place on six stages with various audience capacities.

Montreal Mural Festival
MURAL is an international public art festival determined to celebrate creativity and democratize urban art. Over the course of a week, the Saint-Laurent boulevard will be transformed by the festival into an open-air museum by uniting the talents of local and international artists in one concentrated area.

International Jazz Festival 2017
An event that for over 35 years has transformed the city into a gathering place for lovers of all music related to jazz: 1000 concerts at 15 indoor and some 10 outdoor venues.
In the summer, in particular, masses of people from all walk of life come together to create Montréal’s truly unique festival vibe. Major summer events include the Festival International de Jazz de Montréal, Just for Laughs Comedy Festival, FrancoFolies, and the Grand Prix du Canada (Formula 1 Grand Prix) to name a few.

For first time Montreal party goers, regardless what kind of party you'd be joining, be careful with their tasty and strong alcoholic beverages. Alcoholic drinks generally in Canada are among the highest rated in the world. For example, on average wines are at 11-17% Alcohol content per deciliter, while in the Philippines is at 4-11%. I don't know about you but after one glass -- I'm out.
